September Journal: Off-White
Welcome to our September Journal! This month, we want to divulge our favorite off-white paints. Questions regarding paint colors are still one of our most received, and we aim to please! Nothing transforms a space like a fresh coat of paint.
Over the last few years, stark and cooler white tones have left the building and warmer, darker hues of white have entered. While we still love an off-white paint to ground common spaces in a home, it’s important that this hue coordinates with any accent paints you choose to incorporate. Keeping consistent undertones (i.e. yellow, green, or pink) will tie one room into the next even if varying the color.
Not only is selecting a paint color one of the toughest and most important decisions, but one of the questions we get asked most often is “What finish goes where”? To answer that question, we’ve created a guide we typically go by, but remember there are no set rules! Bookmark this entry to revisit when you are starting a paint project!
